- THUS /θʌs/ · adverb
- Used to indicate that something is a result or a consequence of a previous action or situation. It is often used to introduce a conclusion or a summary. Related: therefore, hence, consequently, as a result.
- ANYWAY /ˈɛniweɪ/ · adverb
- Used to indicate that something continues or happens regardless of other circumstances, often despite an obstacle or contrary expectation; also used to resume a topic of conversation or add a dismissive or concessive remark. Related: regardless, nonetheless, nevertheless, anyhow.
- ALREADY /ɔːlˈrɛdi/ · adverb
- Before or by this time; sooner than expected. Used to indicate that something has happened or been done prior to the moment being discussed. Related: previously, earlier, by now, beforehand.
